SAMHAIN AT BOSKY DELL · OUR FIRST GATHERING· by invitation only

As the Veil Thins, a Circle Begins.

To honor what came before, celebrate what remains, and plant intentions for all that is yet to grow.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, 4:00–9:00 PM | SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 1:00–8:00 PM

Our First Gathering

Listen to the land. Honor the past. Imagine what could grow.

Bosky Dell has a story that began long before us, and as we step into its next chapter, we're choosing to listen before we decide what comes next.

Over the past several years, I've crossed paths with some truly incredible women—healers, artists, makers, teachers, and kindred spirits—each bringing their own unique gifts and magic into the world. And I couldn't help but wonder what might happen if we brought everyone together on this beautiful piece of land.

Samhain felt like the perfect beginning.

The meaning behind the name.

Samhain (pronounced SOW-in) is an ancient Gaelic Celtic festival marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter.

Traditionally celebrated from sunset on October 31 through November 1, it is a sacred time of remembrance, reflection, and honoring those who came before us. In Celtic tradition and modern spiritual practice, Samhain is associated with the belief that the veil between the living and spirit worlds grows thin, inviting us to connect with our ancestors, embrace the cycles of life and death, and find meaning in the changing seasons.

What a meaningful time to begin a new chapter.

We'll gather to honor the land and those who came before us, remember loved ones who have passed, share traditions and creativity, and connect with nature and one another.

There will be ceremony, sound, art, reflection, laughter, and perhaps a little unexpected magic. But more than anything, there will be space to simply be—to listen, learn, share, and imagine what Bosky Dell might become.

This isn't a retreat, a marketplace, or an event where anyone needs to perform.

It's an intimate gathering of women and those who identify as female, coming together with open hearts, curiosity, and a shared appreciation for the land. Come for an hour or stay for the day. Join an activity or simply wander the gardens and enjoy the company. You don't need to bring anything special. Your presence is enough.

A Few Things to Know

Come as you are. Stay as long as you'd like.

A few things to bring: Dress warmly and comfortably for the woods, as we'll spend as much time outdoors as the weather allows. The cottage fire will be waiting when you need a little warmth. You're also invited to bring photographs of loved ones who have passed to place on our Remembrance Tree.

If there's another woman in your life who you believe would feel at home here, we'd love for you to introduce us by bringing her along!

Before you gather

Come with curiosity, an open heart, and perhaps a little magic of your own. We'll take care of the rest.

Join the Dell Notes

A little correspondence from our corner of the woods. Notes on the changing seasons, lessons from the land, everyday magic, and the connections we're cultivating along the way. You'll also be the first to know when we're gathering and what is blooming at Root to Ritual.

Good things grow when they're shared.
